We came to Amara to celebrate our anniversary. They welcomed us with a complimentary glass of bubbly. We shared several delicious small plates: beet and blood orange salad, fish tartare, and lamb chops. All were delicious. We capped the meal off with a chocolate ganache that was to die for. We have dined at Amara a few times and have always enjoyed the meal.

There is no food only bag snacks. I had to give it a five stars because OpenTable does not give you a choice to skip that criterion. You can go next door to a restaurant called BOLD, get takeout and then eat at the winery. Or bring your own snacks. It’s dog friendly. We live part time in Breckenridge and have been at the winery dozens of times and always enjoyed it. We have friends and family with large wine cellars and they all enjoy many of the wines too. The main thing is the service. Susan, Michele, and Natalia all are great! When the sun is out winter or summer their patio is a good place to people watch. If you have the Breck Park app (passport parking) you can park free for 2 hours in the Main Street Station’s underground parking while sipping your wine.
