The hospitality here is top-notch—the owner, Steve, along with his entire staff, are remarkably attentive, welcoming, and make you feel right at home every single time. The food is consistently exceptional, and the curated selection of wines and drinks is fantastic. A special mention goes to the bartender, if you have something specific in mind, they are more than happy to craft off-menu cocktails and custom mixes tailored to your taste! Must-try: Do not leave without ordering the beef tartare—it is absolute perfection! I order it every single time that I am there!More infoMaison Crown Bistro, Bar & Wine$$$$• Bistro• Chinatown•4.9

- DDanielLondon •1 review5.0Dined on Oct 13, 2026Our first visit to Mag's at this venue. Beautiful decor - perfect mix of clean and modern but welcoming at the same time. Attentive service from the friendly and knowledgeable staff was smooth and seamless, with Mag herself at the helm - leading the way both in the kitchen and front-of-house. A slightly expanded menu (compared to the restaurant's previous locations) offers more Japanese/Wafu flavours to add to the Western style favourites. We had a mixture of both. The Fois Gras was pan-seared to perfection, and Sakura Ebi Somen was delicious. For our mains - the Boston Lobster Risotto was perfectly al dente and sublime, as was the Pearl Grouper "Tonkotsu" with the broth both light and with plenty of depth. The Wagyu Steak we shared was cooked to perfection, and the accompanying peppercorn sauce and "Moutard de Meaux Pommery" mustard trio were a lovely touch. The sides we chose (French Fries, Mag's Famous Mash, Burnt Cabbage and Friend Onion Salad) were all spectacular. On this occasion we didn't venture into their outstanding wine/sake list as we were lucky enough to share some amazing wine (brought by our UK-based friend who was in town - thank you again!) via the restaurant's corkage option. Mag's address may have changed over the years, but the heart of the restaurant remains exactly the same: exceptional food and flawless service that never fails to impress!More infoMag's Wine Kitchen$$$$• Contemporary Asian• Chinatown•4.9
