Best Vegetarian / Vegan Restaurants in Gravesend, Kent

My third visit. Twice with work and this time with my wife. We had some very nice food. Highly recommended.

Beautiful lakeside location for afternoon tea. Very quiet and tranquil. Initial order delivered to table promptly. Wonderful selection of sandwiches (vegetarian option), scones and mini desserts. The only down point was I had to go and find someone to ask for a tea top-up. But the staff were very apologetic and brought more without delay (they were hosting a large group for a wake the time we were there so they were evidently engaged elsewhere). Excellent value for money as the location is so lovely. The weather was nice for us luckily but in case of rain I believe the afternoon tea is served in the indoor restaurant which is also lovely and still has great views.

Very comfy seats & I was mesmerised by the living moss wall. Staff attentive. Good selection of vegan mains but need more vegan desserts.

Ate at The White Swan last saturday evening. Food and servie was very good indeed. Will return very soon.

We got there at half past eight and the restaurant closed at 9, they had no visual problem with us being there till about a half 9, which is great because we are slow eaters. Kind man running the show accidentally spilled a beer on my girlfriend and was so apologetic and ready to do everything he could to help fix it, no harm done, just a mistake and we laughed it off :) he surprised us The end with a compliment A desert which was LOVELY. The starters we ordered were delicious and a pretty good portion size and the pho and Tom yum we ordered tasted insane and it was a big portion. All In all it was a great night at phosmiths and will be going again many times until we move out of NX. We can't believe it took us this long to go to this absolute gem on our doorstep
