A memorable evening and experience attending "An Evening with Chef Marcus Samuelsson" event. Food was fabulous and communal seating was so enjoyable meeting new people and having wonderful conversation. What a treat to not only meet Chef Samuelsson, but also have Chef Tom Douglas present as well. Both so welcoming and engaging, truly a night to remember!

The quality and taste of all food from the salad course, main course to dessert was outstanding. The flavor profiles of the braised short rib and truffle mashed potatoes was wonderful. The only reason for not giving 5 stars in this category was due to the small portion size. Perhaps this was due to it being a special priced menu for Seattle Restaurant Week, but when I make braised short ribs, a single short rib (boneless) would be around 4 ounces vs. the closer to 2 ounces that came to the table. The overall quality was so good though that my date and I were very satisfied and the amazing espresso crème brûlée filled the void.
