We visited for Sunday brunch. We had the pigs on a clothesline as a shared appetizer. The bacon was superb and the small salad and bread underneath were excellent. For main courses we had smoked salmon eggs Benedict and their burger. Both were excellent. In particular the burger was juicy despite being cooked to well done. It was clearly freshly ground meat and the accompanying fries were perhaps the best fries we have ever had. The burger was accompanied by regular ketchup, porcini ketchup, dijon mustard, and truffle mayo. The setting was beautiful on a clear cool fall day. Well worth the drive from DC.

Really enjoyed the ability to select different items for the PrixFixe. Everything was beautifully presented, with the beef tartare and lamb being our favorite. The preparation and taste of the lamb last night was the best I have ever had.

We dine at True Food Kitchen when we get together as extended family because the menu accommodates our family's varied tastes and dietary preferences. We especially appreciate your commitment to offering animal-free options, including several bowls, pizza, a plant-based burger, and the ability to add tofu to salads and bowls. We would love to see you build on these offerings by expanding your selection of animal-free options. Also, the service was great.
