Best Vegan Restaurants in Nanaimo

Chickpea is always a great choice for fresh hummus and delicious vegan fare!

I usually love to come here for special occasion dinners. The food was wonderful as was the attentive service. Our server was very helpful and gave us her menu recommendations so we followed her lead and weren’t disappointed. Everything was delicious. The only drawback was that a large group of people came in for dinner and the noise level became extraordinarily loud so that we had difficulty hearing each other speak. I was also a little disappointed that they had changed their tasting menu options. They now no longer offer the smaller tasting menu version and have opted for the more expensive and larger one.

Was my third time at this lovely vegan restaurant but my first Omakase experience and it did not disappoint at all. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and the entire experience and would recommend it to others. Very special. Thank you again to the team at Cofu Chinatown for the warm, welcoming, beautiful, serene and satisfying culinary journey. It is a great place for a special evening. One of my favourite restaurants in Vancouver!!!
