Best Turkish Restaurants in Castle Cary

Probably my new favourite restaurant. Took my family there on 24th June 2026, hot, hot day. For my 60th Birthday. Well it could not have been better, cool inside, very friendly happy staff, great food, fun time had by all.

We attended at 5pm on a Tuesday, the restaurant was impeccably clean, quiet and cool despite the current UK heatwave! The staff were incredibly patient with our table of 7 and everything from the drinks, to starters, and mains were phenomenal. Two of our party had the lamb shank and the table were all sneaking bites, it was incredibly tender (even against my grandparent's judgement!) The portion sizes were generous, and the table was satisfied. The staff also make a mean negroni!

We had a wonderful experience in Cappadocia. The food was excellent throughout our stay, and the service was outstanding. Although one guest had an allergy issue, it was quickly resolved by the staff, who were attentive and professional. The beautiful scenery and warm hospitality made this a truly memorable trip. Highly recommended!

We were recommended to visit Turcuisine and decided to reserve a table for my father’s birthday celebration. There were four adults and two children in our party, and from start to finish, the experience was excellent. The starters, main courses, and desserts were all delicious, making the lunch a truly memorable occasion. The team went the extra mile by bringing out a beautiful pistachio birthday cake with a candle for my father, which was a wonderful touch and made the celebration even more special. We would highly recommend this lovely restaurant, particularly for anyone celebrating a special occasion.
