- CC. J.GoldChicago / Illinois •113 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoIt’s a small restaurant so reservations would be a good idea. The calamari with the combination of flavors (salted egg yolk crumble and pickled onions) was very good as was the crab fried rice. I would have liked more pickled onions for the calamari. It’s a BYOB with a charge of $3 per glass for those who are drinking. The service was friendly and good.More infoCOO Thai Cuisine$$$$• Thai• Lakeview / East Lakeview•4.8

- JJohn and JenGoldChicago / Illinois •254 reviews5.0Dined on Jun 12, 2026We visited Bites Asian Kitchen + Bar last night with a group of five (my wife, niece, two friends, and myself), and it was an absolute hit. The vibe was lively and perfect for a Friday evening catch-up. Because we had a party of five, we ordered a variety of small plates to share around the table, and every single dish delivered. The Grilled Kalbi Short Ribs were tender and packed with flavor, and the BITES Wings (we got the Garlic Chili Prow) had the perfect kick. We also highly recommend the Jumbo Shrimp Wontons, Spicy Crab Rangoon, and the BITES Spicy Tuna. Even the Sweet Potato Katsu Maki was a standout for a vegetarian option. The drink menu is also extensive and very well-crafted. Between the five of us, we sampled quite a few cocktails—the Yuzu-Lychee Martinis were a crowd favorite, and the Osaka Old Fashioned and Whisky Business were excellent choices for the whiskey drinkers at the table. Our server, Angela, was attentive, fast, and kept the drinks and plates flowing seamlessly without us ever feeling rushed. It’s a fantastic spot in Lakeview/Wrigleyville for a fun group dinner with great food and killer cocktails. We will definitely be back!More infoBITES Asian Kitchen & Bar$$$$• Chinese• Lakeview / East Lakeview•4.7
