The best octopus in all of Portland. I try Octopus everywhere and its never prepared properly(octopus needs to be massaged). Excellent Sashimi; 3 of us shared a plater that was only $36!

My absolute favorite place for sushi and other Japanese fare… I wish I lived closer (I drive from Vancouver) so I could eat here more often. Their location in the Pearl (on Johnson Square) was more convenient for me, but Covid put paid to that… I’m just glad they didn’t close completely.

The food was very good and the service was helpful and very attentive to any questions or needs. All employees encountered were very courteous and friendly even upon leaving those at the bar gave a farewell thanks for coming in even though we did not order anything from the bar oh my gosh.

the space is comfortable, warm, welcoming with pleasurable staff. they all greeted us + took great care of us. the food was meticulously prepared with care, the flavours were amazing.
