This was my second visit, my husband's third. The food is excellent. It's the same as eating at a high end tempura restaurant in Tokyo (which we have done over the years.) The batter is light, unlike many Japanese restaurants in the US. This is authentic Japanese tempura. The food is served as it is made. So one or two pieces at a time. A variety of items including various veggies, fish, shell fish including tempura uni, awabi (abalone). There must have been 12-14 items. It is "omakase" but the chef will switch items based on your allergies or preferences. If you are interested in having a genuine tempura experience and are willing to pay the price (which I think is worth it) I would definitely recommend dining there.

This Is Our Second Time To Dine Here Since They Relocated To This Site, We Dined There At Their Previous Location & Ala Moana Location Several Years Ago. It Seems That Their Over All Menu’s & Appetizer’s Hasn’t Changed. We Enjoyed The Variety Of Appetizers. The Entrees We Selected Was Prepared Very Well & Was Very Tasty. The Entrees Were The Usual Choices. My Wife & I As Well As Our Guest’s Were Pleased With Their Choice’s. The Dessert Was Tasty As As Well, We Were Surprised That They Has The Honey Toast Bread Dessert With Pumpkin Flavor. It WasVery Delicious & Was Prepared Nicely. The Service Is Very Well Presented With A Smile & Always & Explained As How It Was Prepared. The Ambiance Is Not A Problem. The Atmosphere Is Quite Good, Not Noisy, Loud Or Distracting. Needless To Say, If We Dine There In The Future, We Will Try And Select Different Appetizers & Different Entrees’s. Overall, My Wife & Guest’s Were Satisfied, That’s What Matter’s! We Look Forward In Dinning There In The Future. Thank You For A Great Meal!

The hospitality and the food were both wonderful. I felt warmed by the chef’s thoughtful touch in the autumn-inspired tempura menu. Thank you for such a fantastic experience.

Always a pleasure dining at Little Plum. Food and drink quality is excellent and staff is extremely attentive and knowledgeable. Took a friend I haven’t seen in years and she was raving the whole time back to her hotel.
