Best Tapas Restaurants in Berkeley

Absolutely fabulous Sunday lunch ! All meats cooked on the open fire outside which imparts a delicate hint of wood smoke. Unbelievably delicious. We all had the topside of local beef. Amazing roasties, yorkies, cauli-broc cheese, mixed veg and cabbage cooked with a twist…..no steamed veg here ! All veg served ‘family style’ and pan gravy made from scratch, of course !

lovely food, service and atmosphere. Portions are very generous so maybe order less than you would typically at a tapas restaurant. Really lovely evening, a real treat.

I had a lovely time at wahaca with my boyfriend’s mum. The food was absolutely delicious - I have a milk allergy, which it was taken seriously by the staff and it was made straight forward to see what I could have on the menu. The waitress was lush and explained the menu to us - overall super helpful. The layout is really great too! I love the design, lighting was fab and the noise level was ideal - meaning I could have a proper conversation. Amazing!

Food was excellent and the staff were great. A couple of decent ales were available and the ambience was good. Caroline's Guide Dog was made most welcome.

Small plates to share but exceptional quality, especially the pork schnitzel katsu! Watched the rugby in the back room, loads of beers to choose from, great atmosphere and service for a group
