Fantastic experience! Highly recommend it when in Stuttgart

We love this place! And yes I also should leave my positive experiences here, I know. But this is a very specific heads up: We went after the restaurant was closed 1 and a half day on the 2nd of January. Our food, the spinach cake was not from the same day, rather from two days ago and then heated up … It was not the same as it usually is. So next time you or we go, we pay attention to the food (it was visibly old) and do not get distracted by your friends like us us, the moment the food arrives! :-)

Great Food, Great beer. Try the Brauhausschnitzel and get a Helles Bier. You won‘t regret it.

If you plan to go to the Mercedes Benz Museum in Stuttgart, you should make reservations at Bertha's Restaurant. After an enjoyable but tiring morning exploring the wonderful exhibits of the museum, lunch at Bertha's was a welcome respite. The food and service were exemplary. Or server, (I believe he name was Ted) was excellent. When we were preparing to leave, he offered to take our photo on the convenient horseless carriage near the entrance. Not only did he take our picture, he gave us stemware filled with bubbly to enhance our picture. He made the moment special and we are most grateful for his thoughtfulness. As Americans experiencing authentic Swabian cuisine, we were impressed.
