And the service was some of the best we have experienced! I wish that I could remember our severs’ name so I could personally praise her. My wife and I decided to enjoy a romantic date night at Piropos, and since this was my first visit, I had a pretty good picture in my head of how I hoped the evening would go. I'm happy to report that reality actually lived up to my imagination — which, trust me, doesn't happen very often! From the moment we walked in, the hostess made us feel welcome, and our waiter continued that same friendly, attentive service throughout the evening. The food was absolutely wonderful, the atmosphere was just what I had hoped for, and the entire experience was everything I had envisioned. Great food, wonderful service, a romantic evening, and best of all, my wife seemed perfectly happy to be seen in public with me! I'd call that a five-star success! She's very knowledgeable and attentive. Aside from the obligatory up-selling (which I totally get), the service was flawless and enjoyable. Although I would not recommend the bacon appetizer (it was excessively fatty), the rest of the food was fabulous and on point. Porterhouse was perfect and the sides were outstanding. The prices are not cheap, but it didn't matter much while we ate. Our only regret was not saving room for dessert. The ones that walked past out table looked delicious.
