    We had an amazing Father's Day lunch at JOEY Aventura. The food was very good, and our server Lucie was truly amazing. She was kind, patient, knowledgeable and made great recommendations. Even my 9 month old baby boy couldn't get enough of her. We will definitely be returning to JOEY.

    Old Lisbon in Aventura delivers an authentic Portuguese dining experience with excellent food, attentive service. While it is located in a shopping plaza, the restaurant’s warm and inviting ambiance makes it easy to forget the surroundings and settle into a relaxed meal. Service was attentive throughout the evening, with staff providing helpful recommendations and ensuring a smooth dining experience. The wine list featuring a selection of Portuguese wines that pair beautifully with the menu. We started with the Bolinhos de Bacalhau and Polvo Grelhado, both excellent choices. The codfish cakes were crisp and flavorful, while the grilled octopus was tender and perfectly prepared. The fresh bread service was a welcome addition and a great way to begin the meal. For the main course, we enjoyed the Paelha Marinheira and the Parrilhada de Marisco. Both seafood dishes were outstanding, showcasing fresh ingredients and rich flavors. Dessert was equally enjoyable. The Pasteis de Nata offered the classic creamy custard and flaky pastry combination that Portugal is known for, while the Pêras ao Vinho do Porto provided a refined and delicious finish to the meal.
