Best Steak Restaurants in Metairie

We had a 6:00 pm reservation and were promptly greeted by a gentleman behind the hostess stand, whom we later found out was the manager Paul. He made us feel very welcomed, and we sat immediately. Our server, Lance, greeted us almost immediately. He made sure that no one had allergies and asked if he could get us started with any specialty cocktails. My daughter immediately asked about the mocktails in which Lance described in great detail. My wife also ordered one of the specialty cocktails. The drinks were delivered in about 3 mins, very quickly. Both of the drinks were delicious and had a nice presentation. Lance took our appetizer order and described some of the entree specialties. He returned in about 5 mins with our appetizers, answered our questions, and took our order. Paul came to the table and asked how our appetizers were and asked if everything was OK. As soon as we finished our appetizers, Lance bussed our plates and refilled our drinks. Right after our drinks were refilled, the entrees came out. Lance came back in about a minute or two to check on us. Everything was fantastic. None of us really talked during dinner because it was so good. Paul came to check on us again about half was through to make sure we were good. I then saw him checking on the other tables in the restaurant. And communicating with the staff. It's nice to see a manager that is involved in the operations. Even though we were full, we managed to split two desserts. I will definitely recommend Ruth's to all of my friends and family. Mike C.

My husband took me there for my birthday!! It was both of our first time at Vacca. The food was great! We had the double cut pork chops and they were DELICIOUS!! Our waitress Julianna was very nice which made our experience very special. We will definitely be back!!

We celebrated my mother’s 50th birthday at Landry’s Seafood House with a large group, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Our servers, Heidi and Nicole, were absolutely outstanding. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure every detail was taken care of throughout the evening. They even took the time to cut and serve the birthday cake for our entire party, which was such a thoughtful touch. The atmosphere was quiet, elegant, and relaxing—perfect for celebrating such a special milestone. My mom had an amazing time, and everyone enjoyed the excellent selection of fresh, delicious food. Every time we visit Landry’s Seafood House, we leave impressed, and this celebration was no exception. A huge thank you to Heidi and Nicole for going above and beyond to make my mother’s 50th birthday so memorable. We truly appreciate the exceptional service and can’t wait to come back!
