I took him to Haywire when he was staying in Frisco on one of his trips into DFW, but wanted him to experience "the original" and there's no place like The Ranch! We were seated in a quieter part of the main restaurant with a fantastic view of the lake. The service was personal and provided at a relaxed pace. The food was, as expected, excellent. As a final touch, our desserts were brought out on a platter decorated to commemorate the occasion. Given Rough Creek Lodge's premium price point, we expected an excellent evening.
