Excellent service from the greeter at the door to our server. The food and cocktails were a step above excellent Appetizers and entrees arrived piping hot and well plated - delicious and appealing to the eye. I even liked the water goblet and the cool water. My friends visiting from Baltimore said it was the best meal that they had in New Orleans! Five stars plus! Thanks for a glorious experience!

The appetizers were delicious. The New Orleans style food is spot on, this is coming from a person who lived in NOLA for many years. Wine list is well curated and the service very informative with a casual fine dining flair. The fish selections were also enjoyed by many of us at the table.

Very well planned Creole and Cajun menu. Excellent assortment for everyone. Only comment, portion sizes are huge. Might be worth splitting a plate. The catfish Decatur had the best jambalaya I've ever had.

We had a bit of a challenge getting to the restaurant on time because the Krewe of Boo was rolling and so some streets were diverted. Fortunately, we showed up at the time of our reservation plus or -3 minutes. We were promptly seated at a somewhat less than desirable table right at the door behind the hostess station. The ambience was the typical 200 year-old New Orleans building, but was very well appointed and made the restaurant very attractive, not too overcrowded and not too undercrowded. The food was truly an 11 out of 10. The service was an 11 out of 10 as well. We were lucky enough to get there during happy hour with one dollar oysters and I had a half dozen of their signature baked oysters. They were absolutely delicious very smartly spiced with a crunchy topping. I had I had a three course dinner, my wife had an appetizer. It was more than enough for her dinner and we took some home. They had obviously read our comments on Open Table and brought us bread early and often. Their cornbread is exquisitely delicious. My wife and I shared the bananas Foster bread pudding and it was delightful twist on the traditional dish. We will definitely be returning to Galliano’s to dine and bring friends with us and refer them here. Truly, an outstanding experience!
