The setting, ambience, food and wine made this meal a highlight of the trip. Excellent professional service and attention. The chef came out to introduce the amuse bouche and kindly allowed a substitution so I could have the spaetzl (worth it!)

We made a reservation and got right in and sat upstairs. Service was great. We shared a pretzel, a side salad and the small grilled sausages with sauerkraut. They were delicious and the sauerkraut was also really good. Found the mustards on the table in packets and that added another level. Would definitely recommend this place.

Food was nicely curated and prepared. Service in particular was wonderful - very engaging and friendly staff- making what would be a good experience into a great overall experience. It is a no alcohol day for me, so didn’t review their selection to comment:-)

The food and service were very good but what made the experience better was the service we received from Niklaus, manager at Le Meridien. The restaurants ability to accept a credit card was not working. We did not want to use the ATM as this was our last night in Munich. Niklaus stepped up and agreed to allow us to pay by card at the reception desk at the hotel. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable meal at Irmi. Also it was memorable when our server Ana successfully performed the Heimlich maneuver on another patron sitting right behind us. Way to go Ana!!
