We had a fantastic evening at The Fox and Hounds in Barley for their steak night, priced at just £35 per person, including a bottle of house wine. What incredible value for such a wonderful dining experience! The food was absolutely impeccable 👌, the ambience was lovely, and the waitresses delivered truly first-class service throughout the evening. Every detail made us feel welcome and well looked after. In all honesty, the quality of the service here surpassed my recent experience at The Original Ivy in the West End, which says a lot! A huge compliment to the team at The Fox and Hounds for getting everything so right. Great food, a beautiful atmosphere, and outstanding hospitality. I had to walk over to the kitchen opening and compliment the chef We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will definitely be back! ❤️ Highly recommended! 🌟

We used to be regulars at the Jenyns Arms about 35 years ago back when Thursday and Sunday DJ nights were the place to be! Having heard it had transitioned into a restaurant, a group of us decided it was high time for a nostalgic return visit. We certainly weren't disappointed. Approaching from the outside, the pub looks beautifully familiar, which instantly brought back a flood of fantastic memories. Step inside, however, and the transformation is just lovely. They have captured a wonderful, warm ambience, the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We spent the evening laughing, sharing old stories, and thoroughly enjoying great wine, beer, and food. It is so wonderful to see this iconic spot doing so well. We will definitely be back!
