This is probably the 4th time we had dinner here in the past several months. Our nephew comes into town on business and stays in that area. This is our go to place. Drinks..good and generous. Server Monica is outstanding. My nephew had the lamb, delicious, my husband had the 6 oz. Filet, great. I had the mixed seafood. Good…it was comprised of 1 small crabcake, 1 scallop, 2 shrimp and salmon. I know from making crabcakes, you have to ‘pick the crab’…this needed a little more picking! The star of the seafood was the salmon…delicious. I really wanted the filet since their steaks are outstanding but the mixed grill was a great choice. J. Gilbert’s never disappoints. You can’t go wrong. Be sure to try the Prix Fixe menu. Delicious wedge or gem Caesar salador soup, entree and sides…then dessert. We always take home our dessert of carrot cake, so good! Go…don’t hesitate.
