Upstairs was bright and lively. Downstairs was moody and chill. Amazing to have two completely different experiences in the same restaurant. Brunch was fantastic. We may have had one of everything? All of it was fantastic.

From the food to the overall atmosphere, everything made for a memorable visit. The restaurant has such a welcoming vibe, making it a great place to enjoy delicious food, celebrate a special occasion, or spend quality time with friends and family. A special shout-out to our waiter, Sean, who truly deserves FIVE STARS on his own! 🌟 His service was exceptional, and he made sure we felt welcomed and taken care of throughout our visit. Having a waiter who is attentive, personable, and genuinely committed to providing a great experience makes all the difference, and Sean did just that! Customer service can truly make or break a dining experience, and Sean absolutely exceeded expectations. He represented the restaurant beautifully and made our visit that much more enjoyable. If you’re looking for great food, a beautiful atmosphere, and outstanding customer service, I highly recommend Ámbar on Capitol Hill. Excellent service…friendly servers. Loved the roast chicken, mussels, desserts. Ended up “French-full” after a harrowing day of air travel and the restaurant was a perfect place to wind down. Server was totally helpful about us sharing dishes for late meal.
