Great food, great service. I have dined here several times and it is always great.

The food was very good! My dish was just as I expected. The appetizers might have been the hit of the night though. Our waiter was a lot of fun and he knew when to come by the table and when to just let us sit and chat. We enjoyed our evening a lot.

This was our second time dining at Esca, and once again, it did not disappoint! Our server, Ellie, was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable about both the food and drink menus and offered helpful insight throughout the evening. The men started with a Clay Pot Negroni, which was smooth and enjoyable. I opted for the nonalcoholic pomegranate and lime juice drink, which was absolutely delicious! For appetizers, we shared several dishes: Bruschetta – Blistered cherry tomatoes with garlic, red wine vinegar, and herbs. Simply lovely! Zucchini Carpaccio – Preserved lemons, herbs, pine nuts, and Pecorino cheese. Insanely delicious! This was a standout. Esca Salad – Homegrown lettuce, charcoal, vinaigrette, and Pecorino cheese. Our friend ordered the Spanish Octopus with marinated chickpeas, celery, oregano, and Calabrian chili. My husband and I both ordered the Branzino with olive-pistachio tapenade. And no worries about the fish head—it was already removed and beautifully filleted! Every dish was so delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. It was a joyful celebration shared with good friends, wonderful food, and excellent service. Esca has certainly earned another visit from us. We look forward to coming back!

We ordered a salad to share, lobster ravioli and seafood risotto. They were all excellent and perfect for our tastes last night.
