    This is a terrific new restaurant (they are still waiting for their liquor license, but they have wonderful mocktails and Italian sodas). We enjoyed a leisurely dinner, taking advantage of the July special value of an antipasto and primi course for 39 CAD. Excellent quality food. All 4 of us raved about our first and second courses. Superior meals and attentive, friendly service. Highly recommend.

    OVERWHELMINGLY GOOD! I haven’t been in this neighborhood for years and I was so excited to see that Montfort was still around. I used to eat here 25 years ago when I was in college. I can’t recommend it enough. Montfort has such a unique take on chicken shawarma, their spice approach, garlic sauce and that onion chutney create a one of a kind meal. I’m going to make a point of coming back here more often. Honestly this place is legendary. I’ll be back real soon.
