Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Mount Gretna

Food and ambience was excellent. Nice options from tapas to entrees along with great cocktails. Waiter Cory was excellent. Highly recommend.

Piazza Sorrento in Hershey Pennsylvania is an absolute must if you are gluten free. They have a two page gluten free menu filled with bruschetta, salads, pizza, pastas and desserts. Not one or two token items… an entire menu of real homemade Italian food. We started with the mozzarella and prosciutto crostini on gluten free bread which was a perfect start. My husband had the lobster ravioli with the most enormous shrimp and a cream sauce that was light and absolutely delicious. My in laws shared the meatball appetizer and both ordered the shrimp scampi special and raved about every bite. I had the gluten free chicken piccata over risotto and it is honestly one of the best piccata sauces I have ever had. So fresh, so light, clearly homemade. We finished the night with a peanut butter cup martini and the guys had the tiramisu. Our waitress Kirsten was fantastic. She was incredibly helpful with suggestions, kept our drinks full all night, and made the whole experience feel effortless. It was a very hot day and the restaurant was doing their best to keep everyone comfortable. Even under those conditions the service was outstanding. As someone who eats gluten free the best part of this meal was feeling like a real dinner guest. Not cobbling together a safe plate… actually eating the way everyone else at the table was eating. That is rare and that is everything. Five stars without question.

Still training staff, so there were some hiccups along the way. I had Spanakopitas, flavor was good, the dish was served around room temperature and it really should be served hot. I did mention it to the owner and he apologized and recommended I send it back next time and I will. I’m sure as they get things ironed out that sort of thing will be rare. Our one bartender was pretty good for his first day, made a nice manhattan. Waitress was also new but very accommodating. We will definitely go back as there are so many interesting things on the menu. We like the 3 different areas to drink and dine. I’m sure they’ll be getting 5 stars from us eventually.

Food was excellent, great service . Would definitely recommend choosing to eat upstairs next time , more selection of Greek options . Also the bar was great for a quick bite , but it’s a little loud for a sit down dinner. But will go upstairs next time and will be be back soon .

The new Judy’s is great in so many ways!!! Give it a try!!
