Food was top notch. Loved the burrata and octopus appetizers. We both had the beef cheek parpardelle. We really enjoyed everything!, excellent actually. Service was really good as well. Our server was from Sicily. Authentic food and service. Music choice was detracting bordering on annoying and took away from our experience. They need to change it. Otherwise, a very positive experience!

Great environment and food. The service is excellent, and the hosts are amazing. Gab, the bartender, makes killer drinks. I mistakenly forgot to include myself into the head count, which is quite embarassing. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate me mand my mistake. I love coming to Callie; they always make it feel like a special evening.

This was our second visit to By the Sea, on our first visit I decided this was my new favorite restaurant in San Diego, I thought the ambiance, the service and the food were all excellent!! Our second visit was just as wonderful!! Hostess Emma is so charming and an absolute gem at that front desk! Food and service were perfect!!! Well done! Not an easy task in today’s market! Still my favorite new restaurant!!
