My in-laws have been to Café bravo before, but this was the first time my husband and I were able to join them. What a lovely place in a beautiful neighborhood seems definitely where the locals like to go as my husband and I frequent too many restaurants all over the country and the world. We’d love to eat where the locals eat First impression was awesome. We were greeted by the host as I made dinner reservations, and we were fortunate enough to have Stacey one of the owners be our server. We ordered a bottle of Pellegrino and my daughter and I each had a cocktail or drink. I had an Italian white Sauvignon Blanc and my daughter had the lemon cello martini which she said was absolutely delicious by mid meal. We each ordered another. We all shared the appetizer which was the grilled octopus and chickpea purée and the octopus carpaccio with arugula, carrots, and celery, thinly sliced. Both were absolutely delicious so fresh, so expertly prepared. I definitely would order it again when we return. For dinner, Mom had the chicken breast on the menu stuffed with eggplant, Dad had salmon over spinach my daughter had the Famialla pasta dish I had the Bronzino with sautéed broccoli rabe no potatoes and my husband salmon, scallop, and shrimp dish, which was to be over salad, but he substituted spinach. They were so kind with the accommodations of no potato and no Farro salad. Everything was absolutely delicious. Well seasoned, hot, and expertly prepared. My parents had cappuccinos which were served with mini biscotti which absolutely made their day. Italian restaurants don’t seem to serve biscotti with cappuccino anymore, but café bravo sure does.😊 It was a lovely meal with a wonderful waitress who checked in often made sure we were happy and without a doubt we will be back to café bravo very soon. It was too hot outside for us that particular day as we dined inside, but we will look to dine outside very soon.
