- NNaomiVIPChicago / Illinois •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe have been waiting to come to Daisies for a few years now, and we're finally able to pull the trigger during restaurant week. Every. Single. Thing. We. Ate. Was. Amazing! The highlights are of course their handmade pasta dishes, each bite of which was like being in pasta heaven. We were pleasantly surprised by the starter squash salad and the olive oil crumb cake as well, though the standout dessert was their tiramisu. As Daisies has a seasonal menu based on the produce that comes from their partner farm, we will absolutely be back another time to try whatever they have to offer.More infoDaisies ChicagoPrice: Expensive• American• Logan Square•4.8
- CChrisChicago / Illinois •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMy wife and I really enjoyed our dining experience. The CARCIOFO ALLA GIUDIA was fantastic! Cooked to perfection and very delicious with the dusting of pecorino cheese. The FUNGHI E FORMAGGI was spectacular, amazing blend of flavors. The TAGLIATELLE was very rich and flavorful. The GNOCCHETTI PESTO was vibrant and had the perfect bite as well as the MEZZE RIGATONI ALLA AMATRICIANA! Not sure if pasta can be cooked better? Bravo chef! Finished with the pistachio gelato, best I have had in this country, and a delicious espresso with grappa! Our server was Erin, (apologies if spelt wrong) and she was amazing! Was very knowledgeable and offered answers to all of our many many questions, lol. I look forward to returning and eating more and more artichokes!More infoil CarciofoPrice: Expensive• Italian• West Loop•4.5
- PPatVIPChicago / Illinois •14 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoHeld our reservation even though we ran a half hour late: very grateful for that! Beautiful space, bar chairs were very comfortable. Service was great, very accommodating and friendly. . Restaurant Week lunch was a sampling menu of tastes that kept on coming. The dessert finale, coupled with hot chocolate, was exceptional. Too busy tasting to take pictures!More infoTre DitaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• River North (Chicago)•4.8

This Italian white is an absolute gem that most Americans need to know about but don't. The Burratta is close to a masterpiece with the roasted red and yellow beets shouted out by their little toasted hazelnut shorties. Also our server Monica was perfect 5 stars! She was attentive immediately and lovely. When she realized it was a business meeting, she chilled and slower her cadence. She is who you want serving you food at a lovely restaurant. My wife is an Italy native (Venezia) and I have traveled all over Italy many, like 15+ times. I know Italian food very well. I grew up in a foodie household with my mother a 1970s foodie, including having taken a week of cooking school classes with Julia Child herself at La Varenne. Alla Vita is one of the best Italian restaurants in Chicago. Let's call it the very BEST, cuz Kevin Boehm is the owner and he's such a cool and great dude! - DDaniellePhiladelphia County •7 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoFrom our server to dinner and drinks, this place hands down is so good. The craft cocktails, even the mocktails for my daughter were so good. This is a shared small plate style experience which adds to the fun. Their Cacio de Pepe is to die for, every veggie dish was amazing - the best was their cauliflower dish. Only one I want a big fan of was their risotto w parsnips, but didn’t dampen the meal. We went on a Mon night, had reservations and it was packed! A must go and eat there when in Chicago.More infoRose MaryPrice: Expensive• Croatian• West Loop•4.8
