Best Gastro Pubs in Rusholme

We came specially for the Sunday roast lunch. It didn't disappoint in any way, (turkey and ham) meat tender and juicy, veggies beautifully prepared and just right. We were delighted. The service is always great, special thanks to Monika. We had a great time. Thank you Stamford!

The food was delicious. I’ve eaten here a few times before and it’s always been tasty. We all had roasts but I think I won with the lamb shank - it was huge! When we ordered drinks, I asked for a pint of Diet Coke and the waitress said they only had one size, ok fine. Then I heard another table ask for a pint of Coke and a different waitress said they’ve only got one size Coke but can do pints of Pepsi max on draft - I would’ve changed to that if I’d have been offered. The first waitress who sat us also didn’t ask for allergens, it was just the manager who realised I’d put coeliac on the booking who brought over the allergen list. Very coeliac-friendly though.

Nice pub, not to busy for a Sunday afternoon, we ordered Sunday roast, eve allowed two children's ones for my mum and myself which were more than enough! Two nice slices beef that melted in your mouth, roasties, mash, carrots, broccoli, green beans and a huge Yorkshire pudding! The gravy is to die for, amazing! My son had the three meat roast that was huge!!

Staff were very attentive and friendly. Great service. Great food. We had the small plates to share between us and all food was nice as we're the mocktails. Great value for money
