Best Gastro Pubs in Sutton Benger

We visited at lunchtime and had a wonderful meal. We received a warm welcome and the service was excellent. There is sufficient choice on the menu which should suit everyone's taste and its all very nicely presented. Will definitely revisit in the near future.

This is hands down the best roast dinner we’ve had in a pub in a long time! We’re only a 30-minute drive away, but had never even heard of this place until we spotted someone else’s photo of their roast – and we’re so glad we did! We absolutely love a roast dinner, but often struggle to find anywhere local that beats a good home-cooked Sunday roast. However, this place has definitely changed that! We had the mixed roast and honestly, everything was spot on. The confit potatoes were unreal, all the meats were cooked to perfection and the vegetables were delicious too. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food. We’ll definitely be making the trip back – 100% recommend! 😍

What a remarkable turn around with everyone happy and smiling amongst the staff, probably due to the amount of criticism over the manager, whom we were pleased to say was finally working along the staff as he should of been all along and not hiding away in corners. We suspect previous issues have been addressed. The food and staff were their usual professional standards and so very pleased everyone were happy making for a rewarding ambience. We will return once again.
