After a day's site seeing in Bath we didn't want to walk too far. We discovered that the Bear Inn was only a short 8 minutes walk from our B&B so booked as it was a Friday evening. We were shown to our table and our drinks order was taken straight away; a lovely pint of beer and a glass of wine hit the mark! We ordered our food all of which was really good; nicely presented, hot and tasted great. The service that we received was excellent. The restaurant filled up and was busy by the time we were having desserts so we were pleased that we had managed to get a table. An excellent, relaxing evening.

The 3 of us had the 2 course lunch for £20 we all enjoyed it and there was plenty of it! Staff were attentive and very pleasant , would definitely recommend, we have never had a bad meal here, good value for money.

Best roast dinner I have had in a long time. Generous portions and can take what you can’t finish home. Pork belly in particular was incredible. Will visit again.
