Best French Restaurants in Roslindale

This is a wonderful bistro which in good weather has outdoor seating. Remarkably, here i twas November and the weather warm so we elected to sit outdoors. It was a special occassion and Petit Robert, the setting and ambiance set the mood in creating the NYC French restaurant (unfortunately now closed) where we dined many years agoland the excellent food which also made it memorable. I ordered the squash soup - so creamy and delicious. yM wife and I both had the rack of lamb in a pearl onion and pecan creamy potato suce. It was plated nicely and the serving was generous. A shout out to Julian, our waiter, who had a good sense of humor, was personable (he congenially agreed to take our photo) and was attentive but not overbearing. All in all - a memorable evening. Thank you Petit Robert and staff.

We frequent the Aquataine in Chestnut Hill because the food tastes delicious! The boneless duck and salmon are our favorites. The pommes puree and brussel sprouts as a sides are excellent! The servers are attentive and so gracious. The bartender, Nikki makes excellent cocktails!! Your dining experience begins as soon as you enter with a warm greeting from the hosts!

It truly was an excellent meal. With attentive service.

Couldn't love Sycamore more! It's always just delicious and lovely in every way! Our service was excellent - casual but attentive in the best possible way. Every bite from the croquettas, the farrow salad, the steak, the apple cake thing - mmmmm so good!
