Best Farm To Table Restaurants in Port Hope

This was my second visit....first time just over a year ago, and I was so-so with it. However I am glad I gave it another try! Food was really good...Beef Barley soup should be on the menu daily! We had three appetizers...all three received great reviews. Love the upgrade to nice wine glasses, that makes all the difference. Took a little too long to get a reservation, but glad we decided to hold out and go for dinner. Atmosphere is also very nice, both inside and out. Our serving staff were also very friendly and helpful.

The service was outstanding with a waitress that remembered us from last year. The food was very good with generous portions. The barn at The Grange is one of the nicest locations to eat - it wasn't busy in mid-week when we were there so it was quiet. We are returning customers which says something.

Food was exceptional. Ive been several times and have yet to walk away unfulfilled. Our server was very good and very pleasant. The noise level was really high ont the bar side but our host found us a quiet table in the corner . I recommend this restaurant to everyone I know. Perfect 10 put of 10

We stayed at Elmhirst's Resort for a week this time and we choose this location because of the restaurants on the premises and their amazing a la carte fare. We enjoyed five fabulous gourmet meals in the Hearthside Dining Room, plus a fun time in the pub tasting several starters (including wantons made with locally raised duck), and a delicious breakfast with Elmhirst's own maple sausages. The ambiance was always delightful and the staff provided the highest quality service.
