The entire experience was simply outstanding. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations. Everything we tried was outstanding, but the black eyed pea hummus with fresh peaches was out of this world!

We had an outstanding dinner and evening at Gemma. We have been going to Gemma for more than a decade - and it continues to be a shining star among Dallas restaurants. Every visit reminds me why it's such a beloved neighborhood gem and last night was no exception. The menu is thoughtful, seasonal, and packed with a variety of super entrees - fresh fish, home made pasta and succulent steaks. My wife had the steak filet au poivre and I (for the first time) had the bavette steak (outside skirt steak, shrimp fried rice,) and both were excellent. Several salad and appetizer choices - makes for a wonderful evening and save room for desserts. They are home made and excellent as well. The service is just as memorable as the food—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The intimate, cozy atmosphere makes it ideal for everything from date nights to celebrations with friends. Worth the drive. Make a reservation. You will not be disappointed. There is also room to dine at the bar and the wine list - is also excellent with a variety of wines that you may not have tried previously. Dallas has several neighborhood gems for restaurants and Gemma is outstanding; highly recommended.

My husband, sister and I were celebrating my cancer remission and every one at The Porch Pour was as wonderful as they could be!! Friendly, warm and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back!!
