The Bradley Inn, on the point close to the Pemaquid Lighthouse, is one of the finest restaurants in the area, which is open to the public, serving gourmet food made from local and sustainable fare. The dining room exudes casual elegance with its wooden tables, blue glassware, and soft nautical lighting, looking out towards the back gardens.Designed with a nautical theme, the tavern is warm and inviting, with its shiplap walls, wooden ship models, and muted lighting. Chef Ross Moskwa is known for his soups and a menu that incorporates a flavor profile that is somewhat unique to the area. He is a master at providing Gluten Free foods, plus accommodating other food allergies and preferences. He knows the struggle personally so understands the importance of avoiding cross contamination and how to offer delicious foods that meet our guests needs. Enjoy your meal with a signature cocktail, a craft beer or wine from our extensive wine menu. Non-alcoholic options available.

Wow wow wow! What a hidden gem. We realized the night before arriving to Portland that we’d neglected to make a reservation and what a happy accident. We absolutely loved Bread & Friends! Nothing we ordered was “just good”, everything was exceptional, from the grilled oysters and the bread & friends to the pastas and the entrees, all highlighting their house-milled flour and seasonal, local produce. Everything was so delicious we knew we couldn’t skip dessert and the olive oil cake with rhubarb, whipped cream & strawberries was absolutely delightful. The ambience was very charming and playful and the staff were attentive, kind, personable and passionate. The only negative is we were leaving too early in the morning to make it for the brunch menu which looked so delicious, offering creative pastries, fun lattes and seasonally driven breakfast favorites with a twist. We highly recommend visiting Bread & Friends and we hope to be back soon!

We were looking for a place that served good eggs benedict and this came up in our online searches, thank you search engines. We both got the classic bennies with potatoes extra crispy. Food came out hot, eggs slightly runny, the way they should be, potatoes were crispy, although I've never had fingerling breakfast potatoes before, probably using leftovers from dinner menu, but still tasted good. Service was very pleasant, attentive, enthusiastic and helpful. A pleasure after our less than stellar dinner the night before elsewhere. Nice way to rebound. Highly recommend.
