Best European Restaurants in Bedale

A glorious hot day in Harrogate, a friend had recommended eating at The pickled Sprout , I booked a table on the balcony overlooking the park. A very small balcony with just enough room for 4 bistro tables. Table service was offered as it wasn’t too busy. We ordered at the bar and payment was taken . We shared the bread and olive platter as a starter. The best focaccia I’ve ever tasted . Not many olives, but enough. Delicious dip! I had the filet steak which melted in my mouth. Tasty peppercorn sauce lifted it to another level. And how do they make chips taste amazing? My son ordered the sea bass with tagliatelle and he loved it. Generous portions and cooked beautifully. Delicious wine and fairly priced. Service was smooth and we watched the sun go down as we ate. Very enjoyable evening. Would highly recommend.

The food is always fantastic, but what makes this place so special are the staff. Always happy and helpful and last night, when a glass was accidentally broken by my daughter, and my son had the tiniest bit of blood on his fingee, they could not have been more caring and attentive. Thank you for everything you do - we LOVE The Turkish Kitchen. It's a highlight of our visits to Durham.

Amazing place with wonderful tasty small plates each one a flavour sensation. Not a cheap eat but definitely a worthy treat if you are looking for something a bit special

This was a birthday treat for a family member and it was fabulous! The restaurant is so nice, the staff are amazing and the food is some of the very best you will ever have in York.
