Best European Restaurants in Jefferson Park, Chicago / Illinois

I was very pleased with my recent experience there. The food was excellent, and the staff was attentive. I will return to this restaurant.

As always, Himmel's does not disappoint! The food is always spot on! There were 3 of us, and we had the Chicken Schnitzel, Wiener Schnitzel and the Pork Shank. Needless to say, there were leftovers that were taken home. Overall, you can't go wrong at Himmel's!

Great tapas menu with wonderful food and lovely presentations. Some of the best we’ve had in Chicago and highly recommended. A little pricey (but seems like most decent places are these days) but we can’t wait to return . Lots of choices and good drink menu as well. A don’t miss restaurant.

My friends and I had brunch at Abrah Bakery yesterday for the first time. We were seated right away and our server was lovely and patient. Our only disappointment was that they no longer carry the Baklava rolls (hint to management: w/a digital menu, it is much easier to remove items you've discontinued). We shared the cinnamon roll to start. It was moist but not very cinnamon-y. Two of us had the Nordic breakfast, one had the omelette, and our fourth friend had the mushroom toast. All of us enjoyed our main dishes very much. The place was hopping from the time we arrived to the time we left. I highly recommend making a reservation as it's obviously a popular spot! We would definitely return!
