- PPhilipDallas - Fort Worth •5 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI knew we were in for a treat when we opened the door and the smell of freshly baked garlic knots wafted out to welcome us in. It set the expectations high and Saviano's delivered! The garlic knots are amazing (I will not disclose how many baskets we devoured), the Mariana sauce -- a true indication of an Italian restaurant's worthiness -- was perfectly balanced. The meatballs, pasta, salmon/shrimp were all very good, satisfying, and served in portions none of us could finish (mmmm, leftovers). The salads were good and large enough for 2 people to share. Our server, Vonya, was attentive, professional, and friendly. Even with a packed house our food was ready in a reasonable amount of time. On a whim I googled for a place halfway between FW and Dallas to meet friends, did a little research/read reviews, and I am pleased to say we stumbled on a real hidden gem (at least to us -- by the size of the crowd, it's well known in the midcities) AND we will be back. Note: the wait line is long (I overheard the hostess say 45 minutes to an hour) but if you make a reservation (we did, thankfully) you are whisked to your table within minutes. A 45 minute wait alone has to tell you what a following Saviano's has, and for good reason. Thank you, Saviano's, you exceeded expectations and have new fans.More infoSaviano's Italian Kitchen$$$$• Italian• Euless•4.8
- NNatalieSan Antonio •3 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 20, 2026Pretty, love the decor. The food was good and service was top tier. Sweet girls they were so sweet to my lil pup as well 💗 I will say a lot more family than what I expected, noise level was a bit heavy with screaming kids which I did not expect on a week night honestly. But overall would totally go again.More infoLazy Dog Restaurant & Bar - Addison$$$$• American• Far North Dallas•4.5
- LLauraDallas - Fort Worth •2 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 18, 2026It's been several years since we've dined at Jeng Chi, and I'm happy to say the food was just as delicious as we remembered! Our server, Keith, was wonderful! Great personality, attentive, and genuinely enjoyable throughout our evening. We had a party of six, so naturally, we ordered a little bit of everything! Beef dumplings, chicken & zucchini dumplings, combo fried rice, cashew chicken, hot & sour soup, egg drop soup, beef fried noodles, and spicy chicken with vegetables. Everything was delicious, everyone enjoyed the variety, and we even had leftovers to take home! The bar was another highlight! We tried the Lychee Martini, and Anna recommended the ChaiTini Martini. Both were excellent! Great recommendations and wonderful service all around. I remember Jeng Chi having a slightly more elevated feel, where guests seemed to dress up a bit more for an evening out. This visit felt much more casual than I remembered, with some guests in hoodies and athletic wear. While I completely understand that dining styles have changed, I personally miss when the ambiance and attire felt a little more special, especially for a Saturday evening. That said, the quality of the food and the wonderful service have certainly stood the test of time! Jeng Chi continues to deliver where it matters most, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Excellent food, wonderful service, and definitely worth a visit!More infoJeng Chi Restaurant$$$$• Taiwanese• Richardson•4.7
