Best Modern Southern American Restaurants in Friendswood

As always, overall I enjoyed my experience at KISS. The ambiance is lovely, food, drinks and service was excellent. I didn’t really like where we were seated. It was a tight space. The DJ came late, in which I expected to enjoy the entire time I was there. However, he was great! I also noticed a lot of people did not follow dress code. Maybe they are being more lenient but I felt like it made the restaurant look less upscale. Overall it’s a wonderful restaurant, always a vibe! You can’t go wrong with booking!

O my gosh…can’t say enough about how amazing the dinner was last night! We started with oysters and drinks at the bar. The drinks were so good and the oysters were the best we have ever had. Then we moved to a table for dinner and it was excellent!! From the food (we ordered so much!) to the service, I can’t say enough good things about it all!! Jonathan was our server and he was amazing. Such a great guy and so helpful about the menu.

Absolutely DELICIOUS!!! I am so happy I wasn’t deterred by other reviews. We thoroughly enjoyed EVERYTHING we ate! The biscuits, crawfish cornbread, red snapper (HUGE), red fish, and stuffed salmon, were ALL ‘melt in your mouth’ delicious! Particularly the greens! Thank you to Chef Wendell for amazing flavors!!! We will certainly return!!
