Best Contemporary Mexican Restaurants in Kensington, Washington, D.C. Area

This was, without a doubt, our favorite dining experience in DC. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Every course crafted by Chef Richard Sandoval showcased an incredible level of creativity and attention to detail. Each dish was completely different from the last, yet every one impressed us with its unique flavors and beautiful presentation. The Chef’s Table is tucked away behind the bar, giving you a front-row seat to the kitchen. Watching the team work together so seamlessly while seeing each dish come to life made the experience even more special. We truly felt like we got our money’s worth and then some. To top it all off, the surprise at the end was the perfect finishing touch and left us smiling long after the meal was over. We’ll definitely be back for the Chef’s Table experience and can’t wait to try the drink pairings next time!

Absolute gem!! The food is fresh and flavorful and service is incredible. This is fast becoming one of our favorite restaurants when we see a show at AFI. Truly an incredible restaurant with surprisingly reasonable prices. Love it!!
