Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Richboro

Tried Academy Grill for the first time last night and it did not disappoint. We had a high top in the bar area so it may have been a bit noisier than a table, so take that into account. The menu is really nice in that they have a lot of smaller plates, so you could do a 3 course, 2 course with a small and an entree, or a couple small plates. IMHO that's a really smart thing to do - especially since some of the small plates were fresh made pasta dishes. We started with the east coast oysters and the zupa. Both were really good (the oysters were some of the best I've had). For mains I had the duck breast and wife had a special - sweet potato ravioli with braised pork. Hers was the small plate and it was perfect at 5 nice sized ravioli. Duck breast with perfect medium rare with a nice crisp skin. I even enjoyed the mini-eggplants and I'm not a fan of eggplant either! Bartender also made a fantastic Manhattan before dinner. Will absolutely be going back here!

Service was great. Food was delicious. Big portions. Went home with leftovers. Will surely come back.

Warm, inviting and friendlly service are what you experience when you walk into this Italian restaurant. Our server Jade was excellent and the owner greeted us like we were one of the family! We've dined at this restaurant and at evey visit the food was excellent. From the calamari to the sauteed spinach to the crab fra diavolo to the salmon and jumbo shrimp with pesto each dish was simply delicious and tasted like authentic Italian food. They have specials everyday so make sure that you check those out as well. My partner also absolutely loved the lemon meringue dessert. Only slight belimish was that this restaurant did not have any tea other than a "basic" Lipton black tea. Please obtain other diverse teas for your dining guests. But having said that, I would definitely visit this restaurant again and again

My husband and I frequent LaStrada when we have something special to celebrate. We were recently there for my birthday. The food was excellent. I had chicken and my husband shrimp. The chicken was tender and tasty. The service was great. Both servers took care of us. One kept checking if we needed anything. I enjoy my time at LaStrada.
