The main meal was delicious !! which is the only real thing i can say that I enjoyed. The dessert was a bit of a disappointment !!but did get a selection of cheese which was not on the menu so that was nice. The restaurant has no atmosphere and we never felt comfortable with the waiters and the resturant.

Coming here for the first time because my American husband loved Wiener Schnitzel, the Oechsle remains one of my favorite restaurants in Hamburg. Not only the Schnitzel never disappoints, everything on the small menu is well worth the money. I also appreciate the fact that tradional German dishes are just very well prepared - and not artificially deconstructed and „verschlimmbessert“.
