It’s asparagus season in Baden-Württemberg, and they had delicious asparagus with a hollandaise sauce on the menu, which we had. I had the pink veal which was very good and a herb sauce on top of it, which was in my view too thick, but some people would like that. The broccolini was amazingly good. Every every part of it was good and the spinach and potatoes that with or with it or first rate, but my wife had a hamburger which was mediocre french fries that were also OK. We did not have dessert.The service was superb. The host gave us a small cocktail on the house which was delicious and even replaced my wife’s alcoholic one with a nonalcoholic one, no charge. It was a very good experience. It’s quieter than American restaurants. A good place to go and outstanding for a hotel restaurant.

We lunched on the terrace. The food was excellent and so was the German Pinot Noir. Very friendly waiters who spoke mainly German but interacted in English as well. We will definitely be back for the Boeuf bourgignon!
