Best Contemporary Asian Restaurants in Lemon Grove

Nobu really brought its A-game last night. The food was phenomenal. The lobster and shiitake salad with lemon dressing was absolute perfection. Service has returned to the restaurant's pre-covid level of excellence. They should give the gent who was bussing our table last night a raise (the shortest guy working, slender, dark hair, glasses). No need or detail went unnoticed and he lay the foundation for an extraordinary dining experience. Well done team Nobu.

ANIMAE was amazing! The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was flavorful and beautifully presented, and the service was excellent. Everything felt elevated and thoughtfully done. Definitely a great spot for a special night out in San Diego. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely incredible sake & small bite pairing. Both employees working were incredibly kind and helped give us a wonderful dining experience. Highlights include the A5 wagyu and scallop dishes.

Happened to go during their happy hour, had a good menu. The food and drinks were really good. Just felt like the customer service was either really good or not, it wasn’t consistent. Some of the staff was kind and helpful and I felt like my server was lacking, just standoffish and not very helpful at all which made me feel uncomfortable.
