My wife and I are out-of-towners. I reserved a table for two at Deacon's New South for Saturday October 24, 2026 only to learn this day was the restaurant's last day of operation. Despite the fact that all of the employees were going to be laid-off and Saturday was their last day, everyone was very cheerful and attentive. We felt sad for them. The food was really good. The service was great. The atmosphere was relaxing. We wish the staff and especially our server, Hunter, good luck in the future.

    What a wonderful place to dine and make memories! The entire staff bent over backwards to accommodate our request to recreate our first date and experience the courtyard. From the hotel manager, to the restaurant and catering manager, they created a space for us that was magical. Riley was our exceptional waiter that made every nuance perfect. It was the perfect time, place, and environment for me to propose. Thank you to everyone who made this happen. (And she said “Yes!”)
