Best Cocktail Bars in Albany

We had a great dinner before a concert at Troy Savings Bank Music Hall. We parked near the concert venue and had an easy walk to EMRY’S. We had reservations and were seated promptly at the outside dining area. Our server greeted us shortly after we sat down and returned quickly to take our drink order and answer any questions we had. I had a cocktail and the salmon BLT. My husband had the personal pizza and a soda. Both of us enjoyed our meals. We didn’t look at the dessert menu as we wanted to get to the show. The patio dining area filled up quickly. And, was a bit noisy due to street traffic. Still, I would sit outside despite that. We would definitely return here when we are in the area.

I went to Matilda on my brother’s recommendation - he was absolutely right - fabulous from beginning to end. My server Violet was so sweet, and guided me carefully. I loved everything!

Very relaxed atmosphere and a good vibe. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. The waitstaff was very friendly and checked on us often to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend this restaurant. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great place to go after going to the Bridge Street Theater in Catskill because it has an 8:45 seating option. Appetizer: crab dip is amazing. Everything is delicious. The dining room is lovely with tin ceilings and art work. Our guests loved it.

The food is great and reasonably priced. The service is excellent. It can get a little loud if they’re very busy, but that’s normal. Always a great meal.
