The food was excellent, the bourbon selection was outstanding, and the mixed drinks were equally impressive. If you enjoy bourbon, definitely try the Duck Fat Bourbon! Even my daughter, who isn't a whiskey drinker, had plenty of other great options to choose from. This was our first time sitting in the dining room, and I have to say, it is aesthetically one of the coolest spaces I've experienced in South Philly. One recommendation: make a reservation so you can enjoy the dining area, which offers a much quieter, more relaxed atmosphere than the lively bar area. It was the perfect setting for a great dinner and conversation. Our server, Nate, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and professional. In fact, the entire staff was unbelievable. Everyone was genuinely welcoming and friendly, which made an already great evening even better. Between the excellent food, exceptional drinks, incredible atmosphere, and outstanding service, Village Whiskey is a true gem in the city of Philadelphia. It's rare to find a place that gets so many things right.
