Located in the sexy, elegant boutique Hotel Anna & Bel, it delivers original fine dining in an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. The food was exceptional, we enjoyed the shaved artichoke salad, skeet cheeks, grilled octopus, sweet potato filled pasta, orla fish entree, waygu hanger steak, & chocolate tart. Each dish had its own distinct flavor profile and was beautifully presented. Our waiter did a great job translating the unfamiliar ingredients and preparation & even gifted us his fav dish, which turned out to be one of our favorites of the night. The cocktails & wine selections were also impressive. We’d just returned from visiting Corsica & Sardinia and found Bastia’s interpretation of these cuisines to be exceptional! Will definitely go back to try other dishes. It is pricey so may be more of a special occasion choice or splurge! We celebrated our anniversary there and Bastia helped make it a memorable one!More infoBastia$$$$• Mediterranean• Fishtown•4.7

- JJohn1 review5.0Dined on Sep 27, 2026Fabulous experience at The Bread Room! I recently took a workshop here and absolutely loved it. Instructor Kyle, the head baker, was amazing—super knowledgeable, encouraging, and great at guiding everyone through the process. We got completely hands-on and learned how to make three incredible sourdough discard recipes: breadsticks (grissini), soda bread, and crackers. The entire class was fun, informative, and delicious. They provided snacks right when we arrived, and there were beverages available to purchase during the session. The vibe was incredibly friendly and low-key, and the best part was getting to take home everything we made! I would definitely take another class here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great baking workshop.More infoThe Bread Room$$$$• American• Center City•4.9
