Best Bistros in Pound Ridge

Four of us had an outstanding restaurant week lunch at Sandbar! The space is stunning and we were seated in a corner banquette so plenty of room. The food was incredible especially for restaurant week. Two of us had the duck tacos and salmon. Both were so flavorful and with dinner size portions. Even the Manhattans were great and came with a sidecar! The best part was our waiter Franz! He was attentive, informative with a wonderful smile!! Overall wonderful experience. Thank you!!

The property is beautiful with sweeping views of the Hudson. The food was amazing and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back and so happy that we chose this restaurant for our daughter‘s birthday dinner.. The Beef bourguignon was stellar! My husband loved his burger and the muscles were in the most delicious broth served with excellent shoestring french fries in a cone (which I loved)….. My only gripe is that they did not serve any crusty bread which would have been so good with the broth. Atmosphere is very important to me and I love having a view. This place had it all!

As always the food, service, and ambiance was excellent. This is the best restaurant within a 20 to 25 mile radius of Sandy Hook. Ps. You can actually have a conversation with the person across the table from you without screaming!

Everything is very good, including the service. My burger ordered medium came very well done, which was the only flaw. I forgot how very noisy this restaurant can get. Having a conversation can be an effort. It’s really the only negative I have.

Wonderful dinner on Saturday night! Great for families.
