BB's Jazz, Blues & Soups, a cherished St. Louis landmark, is preparing for a vibrant return to its historic home at 700 South Broadway. Originally founded in 1976 by Bob Burkhardt and Mark O'Shaughnessy, this iconic venue is nestled in the heart of downtown, within an area once known as "Frenchtown" and part of the city's famed "Blues Triangle." After a temporary closure, BB's is set to reopen in November 2026 under the new stewardship of Steve Sullivan and Mark Goldenberg, owners of the nearby Broadway Oyster Bar. Guests can anticipate an authentic experience, blending live blues, jazz, and soul music with a menu of comforting, Southern-inspired fare. The building itself, dating back to 1848, boasts a rich and colorful history, adding to the establishment's unique charm and character.
