Last night, the roasted oysters w/ parmesan and curry leaf, Bombay (fried) shrimp w/ tomato-ginger remoulade, and the Breads and Spreads (chicken pickle, eggplant dip and naan) started things off. Entree was the Nariyal Fish (grilled redfish served on a bed of curd rice over a green coconut korma - so perfectly cooked and a just right balance of flavors. Mr. and Mrs. Vilkhu and their staff go above and beyond to create a truly unique mixture of Creole and Indian food that you won't find anywhere else. Everything was outstanding. The Dandan noodles were remarkable, as well as the potstickers. Owner was behind the bar chatting with customers and brought our adult daughters candy bags (it was Halloween eve)- he was a bonus! Lovely environs and not too loud, but festive.
